My watch is finally big enough! This 10oz monococue monster is the king of diving watches. A mass of steel. The most "wrist presence" you can get! if you are NOT wearing this with a wet suit you will be removing links. The watch is great, the (Engineer) bracelet is great. The milled clasp was a wonderful surprise. The 0nly complaint I have is the lume was a bit weak by Steeldive standards. My Steedive Ploprof, and my Steeldive Willard are both brighter.
The Steeldive 1978 Emperor Tuna has become my favourite divers watch of all time! I've been wearing dive watches since the 1970's, first with Seiko and then many other brands, but this Steeldive watch is incredible...so rubust and beautiful on the wrist. I love large and heavy watches, spending most of my time in the wilds, climbing mountains or swimming in lakes and oceans in all weather conditions across 100 different countries. I now wear this particular watch 24/7. Strong, dependable and well worth the relatively low price for such superb craftmanship! Get one...you won't be disappointed!
