Great watch. Very happy! The quality for the price is unbelievable. I got the waffle strap and bought the hole and the nylon strap separately. The waffle strap is my preference. Shipping was fast. Arrived in 4 days to Australia. The watch feels solid and it doesn’t have any visual QA issues. The dial is a little tight but that doesn’t bother me. Would happily purchase another Steeldive down the line. Thanks!

This is my third steeldive and it is definitely another blast. I originally wanted the SD1970T Captain Willard Dive Watch PT5000 model but they told me that they would no longer manufacture it, so making the comparison with this and the original I bought the SD1970 6105 Turtle Diver Watch V2. The only difference between them is the caliber, one PT5000 and the other NH35. I prefer to buy them here and not on sites like Aliexpress because I don't know if they are actually original even though I paid a little more. The materials and finish for the price are like fantasy. As long as they continue investing in the product and not in advertising, I will continue buying them. There are many brands, quality for price, very few. Thanks Steeldive.

My 4th Steeldive purchase this year. The color is darker and not as reflective as the web pictures might show. Which, in my opinion, looks better than the website. Dial and bezel line up perfectly. Lume is Steeldive excellence. Only issue is the band. I should've purchased the waffle strap because this bracelet is not good at all. Very loose, sloppy, large gaps and I already removed it. The bracelet really takes away from the high quality of this watch. My advice is to select a strap over the steel bracelet.

I have been fascinated by dive watches for a long time. I own several and I must say this 1970 is one of my favorites. The lume is mesmerizing! I wish my 1957 had the same lume quality. Great job steeldive
