My kids tried it first and that was a disaster. Huge mess. I tried it and it worked great once I got the hang of it. Pour the liquid in slowly once the cup has been in the freezer a while then screw the lid on. Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze so that the liquid is getting in between the frozen pieces of the cup and the liquid will start turning into a slush.

Truthfully the first two times I played around with it I did make a huge mess and I barely got anything out of it, it was still good.But just recently I found: IF YOU FILL UP HALF THE FREEZE CUP FIRST AND LET IT START FORMING INTO A SLUSH THEN GRADUALLY START ADDING MORE, YOU WILL AND CAN GET A LOT OUT OF IT.

This works perfectly. Love slushie night with the kids!

This works surprisingly well! My kids add juice, squish it around a short time and it’s a slushy! Quick rinse/wash and stick it back in the freezer for the next one!

We were a little unsure how the cup would work but it works so good that we ordered another! Super fun! Easy to wash/rinse and pop back in the freezer
