This works perfectly as designed and does an amazing job hiding sensitive information. I used to let my mail pile up because I was going to get around to shredding it later, once I actually purchased a shredder (never did). This is a much better solution. I tried deciphering my personal information from a letter after using this and couldn't make anything out. I can confidently say that anyone dumpster diving through your mail for your info will instantly give up when they see this (or waste hours of their lives trying to read through it in vain... which brings me much joy). 5/5

We are so careful with our documents after an identity theft years ago. We have gone through 2 shredders (after shredding a huge pile of mail sometimes the shredder stops working), and I really dread to do the shredding .... so my mail piles up! Now I just open the mail and use the roller and it covers all the sensitive info very well and to the recycling trash it goes directly! I use the shredder now for old credit cards or checks. Easy to use! Totally recommend this!

Mom was complaining about having to shred every piece of mail she gets with her name on it. She has never had her identity stolen, but her paranoia would make you think that its happened to her several times. I bought her this so that hopefully she gives her poor shredder a break. I told her its not necessary to hide your name from magazines and stuff, but she doesnt believe me. She was so excited to get this and says it works wonderfully and saves her tons of time.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Used it right away and worked great. It works best on regular paper though; something the ink will soak in to to hide the information beneath. Anything shiny/high gloss or plastic can be seen through this. Still worth it for me for the amount of junk mail I get. Anything that this won’t cover I just use and exacto blade on.

I am so glad I got this! I was concerned the pattern wouldn't properly obscure the text beneath, but it does. Now we can securely recycle envelopes and junk mail instead of shredding. Even bills are safe after account numbers and addresses are blocked. A single pass is all you need! And it is WAY less expensive than the cost and upkeep of any shredder.

I love this thing. I have spent years carefully tearing out order forms and addresses from the millions of catalogs I receive in the mail. As much as I try not to receive them or to cancel them, they continue to arrive. Stubbornly I had to tear out all identifying marks. Now this little roller (that looks like a stamp) paints over the id information in just a stroke.

This is a great way hide private information before disposing of your documents. It's better than shredding because you don't have to waste time feeding a shredder and then emptying the shredder basket and dealing with all the paper dust and mess. You just roll over the information you want to conceal and toss the document in the recycling bin. This roller stamp works and makes the information UNREADABLE. Note: it will not work on heavily coated papers and labels including some thermo labels, the surface needs to be a little porous.

My shredder broker a while ago and I didn't want to spend a lot of money for another one. I was saving up my personal documents and taking them to my parents' house to shred. I was getting tired of seeing the box of papers in my house. This product is a game changer for me. That box of personal documents is gone and I'm a much happier person. This stamp costs a lot less than a shredder, it's super easy to use, takes up a lot less space than a shredder, and it gets the job done.
