I bought the eight-tube package and wanted to use this on my next camping trip to the mountains. However, I had made up my mind to test each and every feature first so with my friend we tested this thoroughly. When we opened the package we could feel the sturdiness and strong material used in the built. Then we attached each of these with the attachments given. It looked really good and we managed to test if it could actually hold our weight. It did. It has definitely exceeded my expectations and I have recommended my friends to order one for themselves. The more the merrier. Check out the images to see the test.
The construction & fit are excellent, you are able to mix & match the accessories in any configuration & length, not to mention SUPER strong & waterproof. I ordered 2, 8 tube & one was perfect with all the right accessories, the other came as 2, 4 tube setups, which doesn't really matter in the long run but I did not get some of the accessories I would have gotten with the 8 tube. I also do not need 3 pouches or 3 compass but now I have an extra of each. All in all I'm very pleased with the quality, usability & durability of this & other than offering up different color options for the pouch (not a fan of camo anything) it the perfect stick for any adventure.
After extensive research I went with Prime Adventure. I am writing a review because the reviews here sold me. I was pleasantly surprised at the product quality as it was even sturdier than expected. Great craftsmanship, the compass pops out of its cradle a little easy, not sure if by design, will probably add some epoxy I wouldn't want to lose it on a hike. Everything fits nicely together looks great and will take a beating. Super happy with my purchase.
I search for a long time to find a quality tactical hiking stick. The problem was I needed one that could be used in both wilderness and urban settings plus had the 'tools' I wanted. None such stick existed. So I looked for the best quality stick that would allow for the easiest modifications. This is where I found The Prime Adventure Tactical Survival Hiking Stick. This high-quality hiking stick allowed me to turn it into what I needed. First, I cut the top compass off. I needed a stick with a top to grab. After removing the compass, I beveled the edge, and I was able to add this top with a built-in compass(Pic 1). Next, in one tube I inserted a tube-connecting nut and filled both ends with FlexSeal. This created a tube where I could store things such as fishing line, hooks, money, etc.(Pic 2) And by using FlexSeal, I can even collect liquids. I then had a guy create the aluminum bases(12 total) for me to install my own 'tools'(Pic 3). The first tool I added was a magnet with an 18 lb. pull(Pic 4). The next tool was a flashlight(Pic 5). I have other tools I intend to add. The final modification was to the end piece. I wanted an end that could be used in an urban setting and a beefier tip for the wilderness. So, I cut the glass breaker off, drilled and tap a hole, and added this tip with a screw on rubber end(Pic 6). All this could not have been possible without the best Tactical Survival Hiking Stick from The Prime Adventure(Pic 7).
I appreciate the prompt delivery but I do have one issue. I ordered a 8 piece walking stick back in April and received 9 different tools with it which was good. With my last order, I ordered two 8 piece walking sticks, what I received was 4 four piece sets which only had 7 tools each. I can use the extensions from the extra 2 sets to make two 8 piece sets but I'm missing 2 tools for each set which is actually 4 tools. I have included a picture of the tools that are missing. I would need 2 of each.
