This is a great kitchen tool whether you are using it as a spray to flavor your food or to just squeeze the juice out of your citrus. It came with a holder that is concave so you can set your citrus down on it and it will not roll off of your counter. It has 2 sprays in 2 different sizes which you can use for a big or small citrus; each too have a clear cover/lids you can store it in your citrus in the fridge. The pointed end is helpful to pierce through the citrus flesh. It's best to cut the end of the lemon a little bit so you don't have to push too hard to reach its flesh. The bottom part is closed but it has holes for the juice to get in which is so convenient, that way you don't have to sift through your food to find the seeds! I found out that it's best to use smaller lemons that best fit the top rim of the bigger sprayer. The top rim is a soft plastic/rubber that lays over the fruit. Cleaning it is easy too. I hand washed it and if there are bits of pulp left, a brush would work best and it'll even reach the inside.
This thing is genius!! I was skeptical but also excited to try it. I got it real fast. I just took it out of the plastic bag rinsed it then screw in on my lemon. Tried to spray see if it works and glad it did. We use lemon for everything in my house. Food, drinks, cleaning and beauty regimens. This help us tremendously. I don't have to always cut the lemons and worried they will dry up after. Right now I'm using my lemon with screw as spray toner. Organic and natural without the hassle.
I haven't found kitchen product that I've been this excited about in a while. It works so well that I've already ordered one for my mom! I literally had the sprayer on the same lemon for a week and it's still getting lemon juice out! I am excited to try more citrus fruit. The sprays really perfect to dress a salad or spray over my avocado to keep it fresh. It works really well on fish too!
This gadget seemed too good to be true, but the price made it a small enough investment to soothe my curiosity. I can't explain why it works so well, but it does. I use this sprayer primarily to add a bit of flavor to vegetables, fish and cocktails without adding the pulp, pith or rind.
I just received this citrus sprayer today and used it for tonight's dinner. It was better than I expected and fully spritzed out the juice from a ripe lemon onto my cooking shrimp and onto my salad. The little dish was an added bonus that conveniently held the lemon. I will be giving my co-workers at the gym I work at one of these and even to new members. They make the perfect little holiday gifts that will be appreciated. I haven't seen these out in local stores as of yet, so I think they will be appreciated by the people I will be giving them to. I prefer the juice straight from the lemon without having to squeeze the lemon and worry about the pits that come out with the juice, so this really is a simple heaven-sent gadget because it disperses the lemon juice out evenly rather than a squeeze would.
I loved being able to have fresh lemon juice. I found it simple to insert the lemon. It was perfect to spray on my salad, and knowing that it was not a processed juice, that made my salad better.
It's easy to cut the top off and insert. Just remember to roll the lemon around prior to bring out more juice.
Received in excellent condition and very easy to use. Love it. Would definitely recommend for someone who loves to freshen their food with lemon and lime.
