Excellent printer! I've had the Anycubic Mega X for about a year or better. I had one issue with the extruder, not the manufacturers fault, that Anycubic Customer support fixed with no charge and very efficiently. I've put it through it's paces and now and finishing up a large print helmet for the Mandalorian. The printer fits a full helmet with no issues! It's fast and efficient. I love the xtra large print bed for helmets and other prints. I've run most pla filaments through it with zero issues. For a first printer, I would highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to getting another Anycubic printer in the future to help with my cosplay builds.
I absolutely love my Anycubic X I have had 0 problems and I have been printing straight for 4 months with no stops, its fast, easy and amazing detail. there is only 2 things i would change. 1 the filament location (wish it was on top) and 2 the filament sensor. I wish is was after the extruder motor. I have had the filament break after the sensor and the printer keeps going. the other add on i wish i had is a camera where the printer knew when the print failed. this would be nice. i have had a few of my prints fail but it was due to the stl file or design or the filament breaking. other than that i love this printer. Thank you for a great Printer
I love my ANYCUBIC Mega X and I'm having fun printing all sorts of projects. I have had it since January 2022. Its my first 3D printer. I still can't believe how much came with the machine like tools (sadly no extra nozzles) and a whole spool of PLA 1KG. Wow! I had an issue with the cord it came with and needed to buy another one. The little rubbery guard around the hot end didn't fair well after a loss of power and a resume. It now droops a bit too much on one side. I think its for keeping the fan from hitting the melted filament as it comes out. Thus preventing it from cooling too much before it has had a chance to adhere well to the 3D project. When the power went out the machine does not resume from the last known spot. It actually restarted from the beginning again, sigh. It was the cord that kept turning off the machine. I wasted most of the first 1kg filament to figure out it was a cord problem. I use the machine offline since it isn't wireless. Not a problem and the screen on the machine is a good size to see the menu. The screen has issues though. I have to keep my finger on it to select something on the menu. It won't work if I just press once or twice. Other than clearance issues in some 3D models (my fault, I need to learn more) I can make just about anything so far. I still have a lot to learn but I'm happy with this machine. I have only bought PLA from Anycubic and so far it works great. Just bought the third spool today. Picture: Service dog Molly loving her new PLA toy. She is my daughter's service dog and deserves every bit of spoiling we give to her. Love from Canada
I bought the mega x as my first 3d printer and my first adventure into printing and I can say since day one about 35 days ago it has ran non stop I have printed everything from my owls to mandalorian helmets and the machine just keeps going as I said before this is my first 3d printer and the ease of operation was spectacular I was printing within 20 mins of opening the box I am very impressed and this has opened a new door for me to explore and I can't wait to see what's next thank you Anycubic for making this machine and thank you for the opportunity to make more fun family time as well my son's and I have had a lot of fun with trail and error
This is my first 3D printer and I am enjoying it very much. A little fiddly to get it leveled at first, but so far, just out of the box and using default settings, almost all of my prints have been OK, just need to tweak a few things. I've been using it in my basement workshop, and one night I left something printing and it separated from the bed at the last 5% or so and gave me a blob of spaghetti. I'm fairly certain it just got too cold down there and that made it pop loose, so I set up a small electric heater near it to keep that corner of the room warmer. Seems to do the trick. I have quite a few things to learn, but I'm pretty pleased.
This printer is fairly good for the money. Mine didn't really work correctly until I moved the bed temp up to 80 degrees to prevent curling and then it would stop mid print with no error. I figured it was overheating because it basically doesn't have any exhaust fans. I hooked a custom fan up to it and now it prints flawless every time.
