Ok delivery for EU (5 days). This Is my first 3d printer, but it was not so hard to understand how to use it. After Like 1.5 hour i was able to print. (First three prints were Fails ) I think photon s has really good print even for GW tabletop standards, And i can recommend It. Photo i added Is my 6th print, miniatures Are just primed and painted with shade paint (nuln oil) so you can see detail.
I Purchased the Photon S and the Wash & Cure station 2.0, the only order dissapointment was an 8 day delay between the printer arriving and the W&C station arriving. Customer service was very prompt to provide tracking information and to follow up after delivery to be sure my order was filled. Having come back from holidays, I unpacked both units. Overall excellent first impression. The packaging was superb, very strong and safe. Unfortunatly the funnel/filters were not in my box, but customer service immediately sent out a pack of them. The printer cover is plastic, when opening or closing the unit it feels very weak / flimsy, not sure how long it will last without breaking. Otherwise both units appear well built and sturdy. One suggestion to improve would be having the power switches and the USB port on the front of the unit. Perhaps they are on the side/rear to prevent spills from damaging them? The instructions included on the USB stick were easily followed to setup, clean, level and test LED's. One suggestion for improvement is to include instructions about how to update firmware. I am printing my test prints today, very excited to begin using the printer to make items for tabletop gaming.
This is my first printer and wow was I blown away with the ease of use and print quality. There is a learning curve at first but any errors i had in printing were because of something i did not knowing what to do. for sure gonna add another in the future hopefully they make a huge Photon S xl lol
This is my first resin printer after having two FDM printers. I was not disappointed with the level of detail that this machine can achieve. Layer lines are barely visible unless looking very close (such as the octopus that is smaller than a dime). Also, the reliability has been very refreshing. All I had to do was take it out of the box, put the build plate on, level it, and I was ready. Thus far I have not even had to re-level the build plate. I just insert the USB, pick my print, click go and walk away.
