I mounted my Samsung G9 with this monitor arm, and it rests nearly fully extended on my desk without any issue. I was really worried because this is a curved 49” monitor, but this mount is great! There is a bit of wobble when I bump my desk, but I cannot imagine a world where that wouldn’t happen when this mount is holding a 31lb monitor! This was definitely worth the money.
I love this arm. After adjusting the tension for the arm I’m able to move my monitor up and down, and front. The only issue is the tilt isn’t as easy to adjust there’s a hex nut that you have to manually tighten and untighten if you want to adjust it. Other than that, it works on my large monitor and is great.
This is a great monitor stand. Vesa mounted it to my Dell S3220DGF. Max weight capacity is 33lbs and Dell lists my monitor at 34lbs but I think that includes the OEM stand. The screen alone is about 22lbs; weighed it myself on a cheap old scale to be clear. I searched quite a bit and had a difficult time finding a monitor stand that I could feel confident in supporting my large curved monitor at a reasonable price. This was a bit more than I wanted to spend but now that I have it, no regrets. It was quick and easy to assemble but you do need to turn the allen wrench quite hard and a lot to get the proper support but once done, it's rock solid! The only issue I had was that the rear of my Ikea desk was too small, so, I had to use a jigsaw and cut open the back a bit to make it fit. If your desk is open on the back, you should have no issues, just a great stand with excellent support and versatility (swivel, tilt, rotation, etc.) I'll hopefully remember to update this in a long term review down the line but so far about a week in, no complaints. It just completes my office set up so nicely, I'm glad I bought a this!
