It works great and is very sturdy, easy to put together. I did not use the clamp on the edge of the desk and drilled a small hole do use the other option. The only negative about this is that there is a significant leaning of the upright pole to the left (see pics). Since the monitor can rotate everything is still looking even as you look at the screen, it just looks odd when you look at the pole. It isn't loose or unstable at all.
First impression,...This is a high quality product for a great price! I was looking around on Amazon for the best monitor stand and this one stood out to me the most. It's clean, slick and has a solid look. This monitor stand has a swivel ability that allows you turn left, right, up and down. Also, the cable management brackets that's included is a nice touch. Very good quality, for a really good price. Very happy. Time to work!
Does exactly what I needed. Much heavier that I expected it to be. And, there are more ways to mount it than listed in the instructions. The clamp portion could be removed from the base and the base bolted/screwed to a vertical surface also. I drilled a 1/2" hole through my hobby workbench (countertop) and used the included base to bolt it down. I have another one on the way. Now I have to find a place to store all the spare parts, just in case I want to mount it some other way. The only issue I had was one set of VESA mount screws was too long even with the spacers. The other set mounted the plate flush to the back just fine.
I bought this monitor because I had an extra monitor that I wanted to use as a dual monitor. I mainly use it in Portrait mode which allows me to read my books with a really big screen and landscape when I want to watch movies. This stand works perfectly in any scenario as it lets you maneuver the monitor to your liking. Currently I have it in Portrait with a picture of Mini Keannu Reeves giving me strength.
I bought this for a 29” ultrawide LG screen. For the money its a great bargain. This frees up more space for my desk to write or place a book to take notes. It comes with 2 options... the option to clamp and option to bolt to a desk. It has good range of motion, just make sure your cables to the monitor are long and bendy. I am also into sim racing and it stays relatively stable with my T300 wheel. The screen shakes a little bit but not enough to concern me that it will fall over or snap. Im happy. Would get 5 stars it is was sturdier.
