Just received my HT-A2! Returning the F brand because its not compatible with Apple products. It is impossible to download the images! Not only is the HT-2A image quality better, but it links with my MacBook via usb like it was made for it! Very Good product, I will be buying more!

i am very satisfied with the results presented from the device, it performs very well for my specific needs, looking for poorly insulated areas of walls and ceilings, PCB/component hot spots, and general use. the battery life could be a little bit longer though and if you use the auto-shut off feature, there is no way to stop it from counting down from 5 to shut down without having to power the unit on again, pressing any buttons doesnt stop the count down, its best off not to use the auto-shutdown feature as the boot-up time is a bit long. some attached photos for reference (using only thermal imager): cat, hot coffee in a ceramic mug, missing insulation in ceiling, laptop and my hand.

Extremely fast shipping. Holy cow. Shipped with great care. Lots of protection. Love the product, so many options. Saw a complaint about the image overlap; there is a setting to adjust that if the overlap is off. Awesome product.

Although new technology is making thermal imaging more affordable, detailed macro or closeup thermal imaging is still quite expensive. A Russian YouTuber figured out an inexpensive hack to get far better closeup images. It was a bit difficult to figure out (since I don't speak Russian), so I wanted to share this here and on YouTube since it might be useful. In terms of the camera, I find it to be what I expected. The menu system could be slightly easier to use. Also, you must use the supplied cable and charger to charge it. Other USB chargers do not work. The customer service is excellent.

Awesome little camera. I've seen where the insulation is low in my attic. The picture is of my coworker with hand warmers in his back pockets. Easy to use and download pictures.

I had rented a FLIR i7 and the image is not only better on this device, it also has a really nice option to vary the visible image overlay in multiple opacities - a feature the FLIR does not have! The battery life is not great but it charges fast, and at this price point, I still think it is a good value. I dropped one star because the charging/connecting port cover is annoyingly difficult to get open and keep open while you plug in the cable.

The order came 5 days after payment. Included adapter to european plug for charging. Instruction in english only. Menu languages: english, chinese, italian, german. After pressing and holding the power button turns on about 15 seconds, turns off in 5 seconds. The main plus of the model is an ir matrix with a resolution of 320x240-a very good indicator, other thermal imagers with such a matrix are much more expensive. At the moment i think this model is the best in the ratio of price/quality. Consoles for smartphones did not consider, i wanted a finished device. I bought to search for poorly insulated places in a wooden house, check electrical panels and electronic boards. In my copy version of 2.1.5.
