I'm actually really happy with these. I have a 17" laptop that has large cooling fans but only about 1/8" of clearance even when set on a hard surface so I always try to set the back feet on something to get a little more ventilation. These big rubber feet things work great for this. They have a flat side with a circular rubber pad and a magnet so you can attach them together for storage and that goes against the desk etc. and the domed part sticks up and you rest the back of your laptop on them. They're quite solid and everything stays nicely in place. The height is good and gives a little angle to the keyboard as well. They're now my favorite new laptop accessory!

I've been propping the back of my laptop with Staedtler and Pentel rectangular white erasers for years and years. Both for ventilation and comfortable angle. These mushrooms are a little taller. It'll take some getting used to. Gosh, are they high quality. Way beyond purpose. I wonder what they were originally intended for? Couldn't be for this. Too nice. Treat yourself. Buy these. You'll love them. You won't want to hide them under your notebook they're so incredibly nice. ------------------------------------ They should sell these in packs of 3 and 4 too. I'd find plenty of other uses for them.

I loved the idea of these keyboard stands. They are mini and extremely useful. The magnets on the bottom are not very strong but strong enough to hold these together. I like the soft rubber covering so it will not scratch the bottom of your laptop. You can also use these on your desktop keyboard. They substantially raise your laptop to a more preferred reading eye level and they look stylish. I'm impressed and you will be too.

The air vent on my laptop is at the bottom of course so I'd hear the fan running super hard at times. My work from home set-up is pretty tight so I needed something that wouldn't take up a lot of space and these stands are perfect. I honestly forget the I'm using them most of the time.

I wish I had got these earlier. Setup is literally a 1-second ordeal. I have noticed my laptop being considerably cooler while laying on this and not sliding everywhere or causing any damage to my case. Keep in mind that "2 pack" means one pack of 2, not 2 packs of 2. I guess you could do it with one, but I prefer two and will buy a second set for my office.
